Eligibility
Is at least 40 years of age but less than 65 years of age (for breast cancer screenings and heart exams).Is at least 21 years of age but less than 65 years of age (for cervical cancer screenings).
Has limited or no health insurance to pay for these services (women with insurance may be eligible for cancer screening navigation services).
Has an income of no more than 2.5 times the Federal Poverty Level.
Services
The Well-Integrated Screening and Evaluation for Women Across the Nation (WISEWOMAN) program offers cardiovascular screenings at clinics in Colorado.WISEWOMAN also provides risk reduction counseling, medical referrals, and healthy behavior support services to help women control their blood pressure and reduce their risk of heart disease. All services are free to those who qualify.
